Ductless Mini-Split Air Conditioner

Ductless, mini split-system air-conditioners (mini -splits) have various potential applications in residential, commercial, and institutional buildings. The most common applications are in multi- family housing or as retrofit add-ons to houses with "non-ducted" heating systems, such as hydronic (hot water heat), radiant panels, and space heaters (wood, kerosene, propane). Ductless mini split ac can also be a good choice for room additions and small apartments, where extending or installing distribution ductwork for a central air-conditioner is not feasible.

Central Air Conditioner

Central air conditioners circulate cool air through a system of supply and return ducts. Supply ducts and registers (i.e., openings in the walls, floors, or ceilings covered by grills) carry cooled air from the air conditioner to the home. This cooled air becomes warmer as it circulates through the area; then it flows back to the central air conditioner through return ducts and registers. Air conditioners dehumidify the air to improve comfort level.  However, in extremely humid climates, when outdoor temperatures are moderate, or in cases where the air conditioner is oversized, the air may not reach a low enough humidity to achieve a comfortable level.

Rooftop Air Conditioner

Rooftop air conditioner is a self-contained unit which is usually installed on the roof-top of commercial buildings. Roof Top type of unit can be for cooling only, heating only or a combination of both cooling and heating. For example: Departmental stores, cinemas and supermarkets are ideal buildings for roof top type air conditioning. Installing this unit is economical way to have air conditioning system.

Chillers

With chillers system, heat is removed from a liquid via a vapor-compression or absorption refrigeration cycle. Cooled liquid passes through pipes in a building and coils in air handlers or through fan-coil units, which help dehumidify the air available in the area. Majority of chillers are air and water cooled. Air cooled chillers are located externally to a facility and have condenser coils cooled by fan-driven air. At the other way water cooled chillers are usually located internally and water is recycled to a heat sink or external cooling method.

Air Ventilation Systems

A mechanical ventilation system is usually designed and implemented when the house is built or in connection to renovations. Ventilation pipes are installed in the structures and the ventilation unit in a technical space, bathroom, or some other suitable location. Ventilation removes impurities from the indoor air that are caused by everyday living, such as cooking smells and moisture caused by bathing and the washing of clothes. Emissions caused by building and interior decoration materials are removed at the same time. In addition to being necessary for the wellbeing of the residents and for preserving the structures of the building, ventilation adds to the comfort of living.

Packaged terminal air conditioner (PTAC)

A packaged terminal air conditioner (often abbreviated PTAC) is a type of self-contained heating and air conditioning system commonly found in hotels, motels, senior housing facilities, hospitals, condominiums, apartment buildings, add-on rooms & sunrooms. Many are designed to go through a wall, having vents and heat sinks both inside and outside. Although PTACs are used mostly to heat or cool a single living space using only electricity (with resistive and/or heat pump heating), there are cooling-only PTACs with external heating through a hydronic heating coil or natural gas heating.

Cooling Tower

Cooling towers are used to remove heat from a commercial / residential building. Cooling a stream of water to a lower temperature using evaporation does this. Large cooling towers are usually used in industries like power plants, petroleum refineries and various manufacturing facilities. They vary in size from large hyperboloid structures to smaller ones on the rooftops of shopping centers, hospitals or universities.
